    Plaquenil 6 months

I developed congestive heart failure and was taken off all RA meds except prednisone for a year. For years, I have been complaining to any of my doctors, who would listen, about the dizziness. I went back to my rheumatologist and he prescribed plaquenil again. In the beginning ( The first year or two) It really helped, with my symptoms, with lupus. This past two years, the dizziness has now, turned in to vertigo.

That is often forgotten. 2. Renal clearance in rheumatoid arthritis RA patients taking Plaquenil for at least six months seemed to be similar to that of the single dose studies in volunteers, suggesting that no change occurs with chronic dosing. I stopped taking the plaquenil the beginning of December. It doesn't agree with my stomach I take it with meals too. And since I hadn't had a miraculous recovery the 6 months I'd been on it, I didn't think there was any harm in stopping it. BUT after being off it for a month and a half my body feels like it's falling apart. Usually Plaquenil related hair loss starts 2-6 months after the Plaquenil was started.
