    Has anyone taken plaquenil to taper off prednisone - Inspire But since we have incurable diseases this isnt much time in the big scheme of things. If you need the name brand your doctor will have to write on Rx Name brand only medical necessity or your insurance company will most likely reject it. I hope you have a succesful trial w/ the Plaquenil, prednisone is such a destructive medicine. Best wishes.
