    Plaquenil tingling

You know that feeling when your hand or foot falls asleep, well I am experiencing that in my face (cheeks, mouth, and chin) off and on during the day. When this happens I either turn really pale or turn really red. I have asked the ladies in the chemo center during my infusions if that is a side effect and they say that they have not heard any complaints like that so I just figured I once again was an oddball. Like so shaky that its hard to read your writing or people notice your hands shaking?

Hello my friends. I have an appointment on Monday to see my rhuemy but had a question about something weird that has been happening. You know that feeling when your hand or foot falls asleep, well I am experiencing that in my face cheeks, mouth, and chin off and on during the day. Feb 26, 2008 My tingling in the sun is caused by photosensitivity, which can be caused by lupus or some of the lupus medications. Tingling in arms, legs, hands, feet I've found to be minor neuropathy; basically a nerve inflammation that comes and goes with lupus activity. Plaquenil has been the only drug besides prednisone, but the doctors tell me I can't live on predisone forever that has helped the sclerosis in my stomach which has caused severe gastroparesis caused by the systemic sclerosis. But this itching is getting me to the point where I'm thinking about stopping the medication!

Does sound like some kind of reaction or intolerance. Hi Amy, When I was getting Cytoxan infusions, I had some numbness as well. Hi Amy, I'm sorry, I'm trying to get my time frame right here. I don't think I had tremors while getting the infusions. I get it everytime I have a Cytoxan infusion but it will usually go away after a few hours and not come back. The cytoxan dose was increased again (2 weeks ago) but it isnt at the highest I have had it. NO ideas I have never had cytoxin but wanted to let you know that I experienced something similar as a medication side effect, can't recall the med but it has been suggested to me again and I remembered it then and vetoed it because it was so weird. Babs- I am so relieved to know someoneelse has experienced something simular while on Cytoxan. I had this before on Pred but I am down to 40 mg and haven't had a problem with it until recently!
