    Prednisone and Plaquenil DailyStrength I have been on Prednisone and Plaquenil for about 5 years. They reduced my Prednisone to 3 mgs a day. It is a maintenance dose. If I don't take it, I can tell the difference. The low dosage seems to keep everything in balance and I suspect I will have to stay on it.
