    Sjogren's syndrome and plaquenil

Keep in mind that most people with Sjogren's stay healthy and don't have serious problems. You should be able to keep doing all the things you love to do without making many changes.

Do i need to take folic acid with plaquenil Use of chloroquine during pregnancy Plaquenil empty stomach

The causes of fatigue in Sjogren’s syndrome are numerous. The only strong therapeutic recommendation for fatigue in Sjogren’s syndrome is exercise. Hydroxychloroquine is the most widely prescribed treatment in the U. S. to manage fatigue in Sjogren’s syndrome, but this practice is largely made based on clinical experience. Secondary Sjögren’s syndrome The joint manifestations are those of the underlying rheumatic disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, or scleroderma. Sicca syndrome* Nodal osteoarthritis with chronic sialoadenitis Dry eye and mouth syndrome Sicca, asthenia, and polyalgia syndrome Menopausal arthritis I saw a rheumatologist finally today. She prescribed Plaquenil and drew 12 vials of blood to check my clotting factors and test for lupus, as well as a urine test to check my kidneys she said. My concern is if this med will cause me to gain weight. Since my TIÀ 1/03/16 I have gained almost 20 pounds and don't want to do anything to increase that.

Conditions like this are called autoimmune diseases. Sjogren's causes your immune system to go haywire and attack healthy cells instead of invading bacteria or viruses.

Plaquenil rash I just started taking. - Sticky Blood-Hugh. I broke out with a rash after being on it for a week. I was also on a mild muscle relaxer for about 3 weeks prior to plaquenil. I got off both then started back on plaquenil. No rash so I assumed it was the other med even though I was on it longer and before the plaquenil. Did not resume the other meds.
