It's a very common drug used for those with rheumatoid arthritis people take it for many years. Something is messing with my eyes, no doubt about it. Minocycline treatment started combined with hydroxychloroquine sulfate and the patient discharged with overall improvement." I haven't but it's often prescribed - AKA Plaquenil. It freaks me out because of it's crazy long half -life - 32-50 DAYS (not hours) So, if you want to come off of it...you're waiting a long time for it to clear out of your system.

Hi, I've had rheumatoid arthritis since age 5 and am now 50. You need to see a rheumatologist. I urge you to seek treatment soon from a specialist. Without the information proper testing can provide, whoever is treating you now is just shooting in the dark. Dec 12, 2017 I very rarely give an update on my health status, but I’ve had several people over the past weeks ask for the details of my current treatment protocol for chronic Lyme and fibromyalgia. Since it’s easier to write it out once instead of multiple times, I’ve decided to share it in a post for those

I went to see my Llmd the other day and he has said to add plaquenil. Has anyone any experience of this combo? Is it a good combination to be on?

However, there are no studies about Babesia treatment in Lyme. In Lyme, the experience of most experienced Lyme Literate Medical Doctors is that it can take four to five months of continuous antimicrobials for Babesia to resolve. In clinical practice, many different combinations of herbal and prescription antimalarials work to cure Babesia. In areas that are highly endemic for Lyme disease, a single prophylactic dose of doxycycline 200 mg for adults or 4.4 mg/kg for children of any age weighing less than 45 kg may be used to reduce the risk of acquiring Lyme disease after the bite of a high risk tick bite. Jul 06, 2012 Minocin is a doxycycline type medicine that is used to treat lyme and is one of the first medications used in most peoples treatment. I have never been on doxy, but this is my 3rd time on Minocycline known as minocin. We just started the Minocin and Plaquenil two days ago and I have been on the Omnicef and IV Clindamycin for atleast a few months.

Itchy Palms What’s the Cause? Itchy palms are certainly annoying. They can drive you mad when the irritating, burning itch doesn’t stop.
